Today we send out a heartfelt thank you to local senior Shirley Sparkes for taking the time to participate in our Rejoice in Reading event by reading to our students at school.Mrs. Sparkes shared two classic stories over the course of the afternoon with 4 of our classes. Her presence brought a gentle warmth to our library and her engaging story-telling made it easy to see that she was once a school teacher! Thank you again Mrs. Sparkes for sharing your 'spark' with our students!
