Fort McMurray Christian School Families,

Our school opened for registration and planning on August 17th, and we know many of you may be wondering about what school will look like for your children. We are very excited to welcome all our new and returning families, and show you the measures we have taken to ensure a safe and successful startup. We are inviting families to register for our Family Open House on Thursday, August 27, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. A virtual tour/open house will be published on social media for those families that are unable to attend.

In accordance with Alberta Health Services-mandated safety protocols, please note the guidelines below:

• All family members must wear masks
• Follow the posted safety signs 
• Stop at the Hand Sanitizing Station upon first entering the building
• Please plan to only stay for the 15 minutes you have registered for

Families can register on the school’s website as shown below. Our new families can click “Register for an Account” to access the site, using the following steps:

• Select a teacher. (Choose any available teacher, and admin. will direct you once you arrive.)
• Select a suitable time.
• Under “Student,” input the first name(s) of your child(ren).
• Click “Confirm.”

The Open House will be scheduled using our school website that is typically used for parent-teacher interviews. The link is located right on the bottom of the website. Just look down at the bottom of this page and look for "Parent Teacher Interviews".  If you have not used the website to schedule an interview previously, click on Parent Teacher Interviews and choose Register for an Account.  Fill in your name and email address and select Parent as your role.  You will then be able to choose members you want to meet with and select from the times that are available.  

If you registered previously and forget your password it can be sent to you by clicking Forgot Password.  Make sure to check your spam or junk folder as it often goes there. If you have any questions please contact the office; 780-743-1079.
