Influenza season is here and cases continue to rise. Influenza is a serious illness that leads to thousands of hospitalizations, often in children (read Alberta influenza data). Thankfully we have access to a vaccine that can help protect ourselves, and our children. To keep all Albertans healthy, we are encouraging parents and guardians to get their children immunized against influenza.
