In grade 2 social studies students have been studying the past and present cultures of Saskatchewan. Part of our unit is on Ukrainian traditions. Lev's mom Mrs. Khymych gave an awesome presentation to the class about the Ukrainian and Ukrainian cultures. Students learnt about pysanky eggs and even got to taste homemade perogies! Thank-you to Mrs. Khymych and Lev for sharing with the grade 2's.
