March for Men's Mental Health
Next year, as part of our education plan for the school, we will be raising awareness and implementing steps around the importance of social, emotional, and mental health of our staff, families, and students. As a starting point we participated in the Men's Mental Health Awareness March that is happened on June 9th. We did this in conjunction with many of our families and churches such as Daystar Chapel, McMurray Gospel Assembly and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We were also excited to have Councilor Jane Stroud from the RMWB be there to speak on behalf of the municipality.
It was a great time to build community and raise awareness to this important cause.
