Hello! My name is Julie Bursey, although most people know me as Miss Julie. I am an Educational Assistant at Fort McMurray Christian School, where I spend my mornings with Grade 6, and my afternoons with Kindergarten. My two boys also attend FMCS, in Grades 5 and 8, and together we truly cherish being part of this wonderful school community.

I moved to Fort McMurray from Newfoundland in 2006, and now my husband, our two boys, and our three dogs call it home. As a family, we love spending summers camping, and in my spare time I enjoy playing piano, baking, and exploring all things creative and crafty.

This is my third year working at FMCS, but I’ve been part of the school family since my oldest son began ECDP in 2015. I am so grateful to be here and excited for another fantastic year ahead!
