Hi! I’m Thania Breitkreuz. I’m a busy mother of two young boys and I’m excited to be returning to the School Division this year. I earned my Bachelor of Education, as well as a Degree in Communication and Culture from the University of Calgary. Previously, I taught at the Grade 3 and Grade 4 levels within the Fort McMurray School Division. 

The 2023/24 school year marks my first year in the Teaching for Transformation position at the Fort McMurray Christian School, and I look forward to seeing how God will use me in this role. 

I have a passion for building relationships with children and their families, and my professional philosophy is guided by my belief that engagement is the foundation to successful learning. I love to find new ways to engage students in everyday activities, and creating a community that students are excited to participate in. I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village and we are all on this learning journey together. 

I am very involved at All Nations Church, and our family loves to spend our Sundays there. In my free time I love camping with my husband and boys, or you could catch me baking and spending time in my garden.
