This will be the fifth year that I will be part of the Fort McMurray Public School Division and my second year as principal of the Fort McMurray Christian School.  I am looking forward to a great year working alongside the staff, family, and greater community of the FMCS family as we walk alongside our students in their walk with Christ.  

Originally from Nova Scotia, I am a proud family man who has two wonderful children and is married to a fellow teacher in the division.  I love to travel and instil in my students to dream big while making a difference in their community and the world.  I've been able to model this through my previous teaching and missions locations including Egypt, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Nova Scotia.

I have a BA in Political Science and History from Athabasca University, a B.Ed. from Acadia University and am currently pursuing my Masters of Education and Global Change through Athabasca University.  I love to play bass, sing, shoot hoops, spike volleyballs, and attempt long drives on the golf course.  I seek adventure and exploration so chances are good that you'll hear me talking about the next trip or experience that I am planning!
