My name is Asha Osman, and I am excited to be part of the team as a Literacy Support Teacher this year. I am originally from Toronto, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Sociology at York University. I earned my B.Ed from Tyndale University and completed my Master’s degree at the University of Ottawa with a concentration in Second Language Education. My teaching journey has taken me overseas, where I spent three years teaching Senior Kindergarten in Doha, before moving to Fort McMurray. This year, I work with students from Grades 1–6, providing literacy support as well as assistance in Physical Education. I am passionate about creating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning experiences that help every student grow academically and personally.
