Gr. 1 Christmas Cards

Check out this wonderful letter in return for the cards the Gr. 1s sent overseas this Christmas.

"[Miss Wiebe], Happy New Year’s greetings to you, and your remarkable Grade 1 students! We the women and men of CTF 150 wish you and them all the very best of 2019.

Attached please find a letter to you and the Class, I trust that this note finds everyone in good health and fresh from a well-deserved Christmas and New year’s Holiday. Their cards touched us all and we are profoundly grateful for this kind gesture from these superb young citizens and future leaders of our great Country. I have included a picture of the entire team gathered around a very green space at a traditionally white time of year, the transition for many of us has been challenging with absences from our families being keenly felt. Bahrain is a desert nation, with a long tradition of welcoming people from all over the world, it is proving to be a very interesting “temporary” home away from home. Our Public Affairs Officer, Linda Coleman has reached out in an attempt to perhaps grow a relationship from your initiative and provide the class with a different perspective on the world and so we are hopeful that we can connect soon.

Also, I attempted to locate the name of your Principal so I could express my thanks directly to him/her, but could not find their e-mail address. Could you please forward a copy on at your convenience.

Please accept by best regards

Darren
