Fort McMurray Christian School is an Alternative Program within the FMPSD.  As such, the District does not fund our specialized Christian programming. To cover the cost of providing Christian programming that permeates every aspect of school life, the Fort McMurray Christian School Society collects school fees.  

Society school fees for the 2021/2022 school year are as follows:

K - $500.00

1 student (grades 1-9) - $1000.00

2 students (grades 1-9) - $1500.00

3+ students (grades 1-9) - $1750.00

Should you require financial assistance to cover these fees, please complete the following Financial Assistance form and return to the school office. Please note, financial assistance will be approved on an individual basis and requests will need to be renewed each school year, if required.

Along with Society Fees are some possible other school fees. These are similar to fees that are found at all schools across the District:

  • ECDP (Early Child Development Program) - $800
  • Junior High Option Fee - $50
  • Transportation (yellow bus) - $410
  • Yearbook - $30
  • Field trips - (Heritage Park, Discovery Centre, Theatre productions, etc.) - various fees (determined by individual vendors)
  • Gr 6 - Junior High Out of city trip: Fees will vary depending on fundraising activities done by student Vista Ridge:
    • Tubing - $25
    • Gr 4-6 Skiing - 3 trips @ $40 each (lessons, lift ticket, equipment rental)
  • Sports Team Tournaments: $5 each
  • Sports Uniform : $30
  • Agenda Replacement: $10
